Lumina Apartments

This medium density project consists of 38 apartments, which are fully integrated with the existing Masonic Homes community and overall master plan for the precinct.

 

The philosophy behind the project is to provide contemporary and unique solutions to meet the particular needs of the elderly population.

 

Key design drivers for the project included passive solar orientation, functionality, use of colour in providing dynamic and personal spaces, material durability, adaptability and intuitive way finding. Landscaped surrounds, including productive gardens and an arbored deck area, along with design solutions that provide adaptable and accessible layouts and responsive living environment, have created an exemplary model of adaptable accommodation. Detailed interior design addresses a specialised brief with selections which meet the needs of the residents in a stylish manner. The result is unique, highly functional and sustainable development in a contemporary context.
