Navorina Nursing Home

Navorina is a community based aged care facility in Deniliquin, New South Wales. The original building was built in the 1986 with an additional wing added in 2018. With the changing profile of the residents, the existing building no longer met the needs of either the residents, the staff or of the broader community expectations.

A master plan was prepared to address a range of shortcomings of the existing building: -

• ​Lack of en suite facilities

• Multi bed wards

• Lack of local living /dining areas

• Need to upgrade reception and admin areas

• Lack of a clear hierarchy of spaces from local private to public communal.

The master plan established a four stage redevelopment process. Stage 1- 3 have been completed. Stage 4 is about to commence construction.
