Gaffney Wing
Gaffney House, was built in 1981 and consists of 30 beds. Blair Architects have been commissioned to provide principal consultant services for the major renovation of the wing. A range of design proposals have been developed to upgrade lounge spaces and increase natural light into corridors. Linkages have also been developed from lounge / sitting areas to outdoor gardens.

A comprehensive finishes strategy has been developed which will provide a major visual uplift to the wings generally, and link them with the previously upgraded / redeveloped Lynden development. Memory cabinets, colour strategies and curated art works have established a clear intuitive way-finding strategy that does not rely on institutional signage.
